Free-agent center Dominic Moore has signed a two-year contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning. Moore appeared in 69 games last season with the Florida Panthers and Montreal Canadiens. He also has played for the New York Rangers, Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Toronto and Buffalo during a career that spans 374 NHL games.

pThe Lightning caught a glimpse of the future in early July, hosting a five-day prospect development camp in Tampa that included all eight 2010 draftees and most of the class of 2009./p pAmong those making a solid early impression was Brett Connolly, the sixth overall pick in this year's draft. The 18-year-old from Prince George, B.C., had questions surrounding him regarding the health of his hips after playing in just 16 games last season because of flexor issues on both sides./p pConnolly scored 30 goals as a 16-year-old to earn top rookie honors in the Canadian Hockey League. With that ability and skill, Connolly was no doubt a top-five talent before the injuries. He hopes now, however, that all the scrutiny is behind him as he looks to show he's healthy and ready to showcase...
