pJust when the Timberwolves finally reach .500 this late in the season for the first time in five years, now they must wait to learn if they will play on without Kevin Love and, if so, for how long./p pEarly in Saturday's third quarter, Love stepped on Houston forward Luis Scola's face and chest in a fleeting moment that ended up on YouTube within minutes and will have NBA officials playing and rewinding it over and over./p pOn Monday in Houston, Scola flung the ball off Love's private area as Scola was falling out of bounds and Love collapsed in a heap, and in obvious pain./p pOn Saturday, the two players were involved in some heated play on both ends of the court in the seconds before Scola ended up on the floor and Love stepped on him as he headed back down the...

The Minnesota Timberwolves almost never won away from home last season. Now, they don't seem eager to go back there. Luke Ridnour made the tiebreaking 3-pointer with 1:23 left, Nikola Pekovic scored a career-high 27 points, and the Timberwolves beat the New Jersey Nets 108-105 on Friday night to surpass last season's road victory total.

The 2012 NBA All-Star starters were announced Thursday. In my opinion, the Minnesota Timberwolves' record and lack of excitement surrounding the team caused power forward Kevin Love to be snubbed. Love is averaging 25.3 points and 13.6 rebounds per game and has 20 double-doubles...
