While talking about the Texas Rangers' biggest needs, there are two positions that immediately come to mind. Texas needs some solid left handed relievers in the bullpen and, conventional wisdom indicates, they need a better option in the centerfield as well.

Brad Penny is headed to Japan. The 33-year-old righty will join the Softbank Hawks of Japan's Pacific League, the team announced on its website Sunday. Penny, who pitched 12 seasons in the majors for six teams, indicated earlier in the week via Twitter he was headed for Japan.
